The realm of mixed martial arts and its biggest draw, the Ultimate Fighting Championship or UFC, is one of the fastest-growing sports and leagues in sports anywhere around the globe. Betting has similarly exploded, and the UFC has taken that in stride. They have incorporated betting lines directly into the broadcast as a standard part of every UFC event. Here are a couple of other things you should know:
- Betting on the UFC is completely different from betting on any other sport because there are no points to be scored, only rounds to be won which means there is no spread or point total betting in the UFC. There is Moneyline betting, however.
- There are several betting markets unique to the UFC because of the fact that fights may or may not make it to the end, and there are also many ways to get a win. Some of these are the method of victory, round of victory, length of the fight, whether the fight will go to the judge’s scorecards or not, and more.
